Meet Dr. Polly Huang, Certified Periodontist – Expert in Dental Implants, Gum Grafting, and Regenerative Care.
Dr. Polly Huang is a board-certified periodontist with advanced expertise in treating gum disease, placing dental implants, and performing gum grafting and bone regeneration procedures. She is highly skilled in managing complex cases such as receding gums, peri-implantitis, and ridge augmentation. Her approach combines minimally invasive microsurgical techniques with a strong focus on preserving natural teeth whenever possible.
Originally from Taipei and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Huang graduated top of her class from the University of British Columbia and received the prestigious Gold Medal Award. She practiced as a dental hygienist for six years before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by specialty training in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Huang has been recognized with the Best Case Study Award by the Academy of Osseointegration for her work in ridge augmentation. She previously served as lead implant educator at RipeGlobal, teaching implant dentistry and gum regeneration techniques to clinicians worldwide. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of multiple dental associations in North America.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr. Huang strives to make every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their periodontal care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys travel, cuisine, and time with her baby girl.
